**Full disclosure—I completely forgot we had this rosé in our fridge, so I have no idea how much costs is or where you can buy it. Post in the comments if you find it!
We love rosé. It’s extremely versatile and is a great “go-to” when you have no idea what else to do. That said, we're also extremely picky about our rosé. See all of accents on the “e’s”? That’s dedication.
First off, this bottle is gorgeous, with an amazing pastel label that matched the wine’s color 100%. This is the rosé that was definitely in a top sorority in college, and is now an influencer that actually made it in the world. Not one of those “friends” who pops out of nowhere and tries to convince you to #beyourownboss and buy a crap-ton of toothpaste from them on Facebook. To that, I say LOL to your MLM.
There was a pretty strong syrup-y taste in the first glass—but in all honesty, I have no idea how long it’s been in my fridge. So it could be that it just needed to open up a bit. Like me talking to ANYONE before I’ve had my second cup of coffee.
Once I let it breathe for a hot sec, it had a great balance of sweet and fruity—I got hints of strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple. If Hawaii could be bottled up and sold to us mere mortals, it would exist in this bottle. This is definitely one to consume on its own—it’s light enough to be an easy drink, but has enough flavor where you don’t want to taint it as a mixer. So hold off making your Sunday brunch frosé with this one.
The Collection recommends drinking this with “soft cheese and sunshine,” which are my two favorite things in life, so we’re meant to be BFFs. Crack open this bottle with your gal pals during your next Dolores Park outing—and did I mention it’s a screw top, too!? Like with every genuine trendsetter, the devil is truly in the details with this one. Sip, sip, rosé!
