I love Coppola wine. Give me any bottle of Franny Copes, and I’ll be a happy camper. Except if I’m actually camping; if I'm ever found in a tent in the woods, use that as my cry for help and stick me in the nearest hotel. This classy wine deserves to be enjoyed with an actual roof over my head and electricity to make sure I have the proper lighting for my Instagram posts.

This is a tried-and-true wine that has all of my favorite qualities of a California cab—a rich, deep purple color and the typical fruits of cherry and blueberry. I even got hints of boysenberry! The first sip lets you notice its great acidity without making you squint from excessive sourness.

What really sells this bottle is the presentation. Coppola wines are great gifts, since they tend to “wrap themselves”--many of the vintages come with gorgeous netting that matches both the label and the seal. So not only will it not break the bank, the recipient will "ooooh" and "aaaah" over the bottle. And you won’t feel embarrassed if they open it in front of you. Triple threat, amirite?

The label describes how this wine is blended in the classic Bordeaux style, which gives it a great full-body essence with just a slight dryness to add incredible depth. Let this wine transport you to the good days of riding on the back of a Parisian boy’s moped, a la Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in Passport to Paris. And if that has never happened to you, then you can cheers to that fact that you have impeccable stranger-danger instincts and survived a very possible international kidnapping situation. AND you now have this amazing bottle of wine, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your tent-free, bear-free, mosquito-free, stranger-free apartment.
