“It’s well, red”

Price at Purchase: $10.99

Location: Costco

Some bottles totally encapsulate the region they’re from, and this is one of them. Grown in Monterey County, this is a bottle that blends into any environment, but always manages to stay cool and relevant no matter the occasion. It has a casual, musky scent to it—almost as if you’d find it chain-smoking in the corner of an underground bar. But like, a super hip underground bar. It’s the wine of the ages and it’s fine with just being in the background, soaking up the “excitement” of yet another friend’s dog’s birthday party.

While there’s nothing super distinguishable about this, that’s kinda why I like it. While it’s fruity and flavorful, it’s not over-the-top. Cherry is the fruit that stands out the most, but even then it’s understated, and mixed with lighter notes of lavender.

This is a true “Pour Choices” table wine that is light enough to go well with whatever you have laying around. Or mix it with club soda for a red wine spritzer! But remember, not EVERY wine needs to be a conversation starter. This is the bottle that will let YOU shine. So slap on a strand of pearls, Chanel No. 5, a bold red lip, and be the star of the show tonight.
